Circa Survive, Again...

My dear friend ciego, aka "the blunt maker", gave me a great idea with his last post; give you, our readers, another chance to redeem yourselves... and how do you do that?? simple, stop listening shity music... In order to do that, we must give you the tools to get into the right path. It's true that i already posted about these guys, but i feel like as the owner of this blog, it's my duty to make you understand the meaning of good music...
Casimiro gave you Revis, and I'm giving you Circa Survive... again...

Anthony Green, the guy in the picture, is the vocalist, song-writer and founder of this awesome band. You might know him for his work with one of the most out breaking bands, Saosin. Well, this guy left Saosin to form Circa Survive, and that's because he didn't feel comfortable doing that kind of music and all that stuff. When he left the band he said that "Saosin was a girl that you had great sex with, yet had little in common with" (I already said this in the first post of this band... but i'm lacking some inspiration).

Circa Survive was formed in 2004, the first time that i heard them was in 2005, and since then i've been a big fan of the band. Their music is awesome, mixing some indie rock beats with alternative rock guitar riffs. Besides that, Anthony's voice is completely marvelous, he sings in a very particular tone, and he can reach very high notes, which has been the most characteristic feature of this kid, and it's kind of the band's signature...

In May of this year Circa released their new album, On Letting Go, an awesome record with great songs and touching lyrics, enough reasons for me to bring it to you, even though i already uploaded their two albums in my first post of this band...

If you understand some spanish, you can get a little more info in here
